If you need help with food, please contact us. Throughout the summer, we have penny concerts and Jamaican dinners. In the fall, we have shopping trips to fill your barrels. You are invited to attend our church services. Our church van will pick up people at the Cove in Chatham, Holiday Hill in Dennis Port, and Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis. If you do not live at these locations, please contact us for a ride.

Hello Summer J-1
At Hello Summer J-1, we work with people from over 26 Cape Cod churches to provide welcome dinners and cultural events. We also match interested J-1 students with American families who might take them to their home for a meal or to cultural events. Due to COVID, we are looking to have smaller outdoor events in 2022. For more information, please visit our website and watch our video. You can also find us on Facebook..
J-1 Road Safety Program
Through our road safety program, J-1 students are provided with reflective backpacks with front and back bicycle lights and other items. We hand out these backpacks at events and we deliver them to businesses that hire J-1 students. After your arrival, if you find that your employer does not have J-1 backpacks, please contact us and we will get your employer all the backpacks needed.
